The Kerala based Jeweler ,Kalyan Jewelry is listed in Bombay Stock Exchange(BSE) and National Stock Exchange( NSE) on Friday. The trading of the stock has commenced, a release from the jewelry group said.
The Chairman of the Kalyan Jewelry group, TS Kalyanaraman commenced the trading at the NSE headquarters on Friday by ringing the bell.
While describing on the growth of the company, the Chairman thanked the customers, employees and well wishers in his speech. Executive directors of the group, Rajesh Kalyanaraman and Ramesh Kalyanaraman were present in the programme.
Kalyan group has collected 1175 crore in one of the highest IPO’s in the jewelry sector.
The Kalyan jewelry stock has commenced trading at 73.90 rupees at BSE, which is at a discount of 13.45 percent discounted rate from the issue price of 87 rupees. At NSE the Kalyan stock closed at 74.35 rupees and BSE closed at 75.30 rupees and the stock touched at 81 rupees and according to the closing rate, the value of Kalyan Jewelry stand at 7756.30 crore.
