Chennai, March 2 (BPNS)

The Tamil Nadu Regional Centre of the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted widespread rains across Tamil Nadu during the week. The weathermen also predicted heavy rains on Friday and Saturday in some parts of the state.

The probability of rains is due to the low-pressure area over the Bay of Bengal that is likely to bring rains to the state.
