The first prize of the mega raffle first prize of Rs 25 crore was won by an autorickshaw driver in Sreekaryam, Thiruvananthapuram. The winner, Anoop is living with his wife , a child, and mother at Sreekariyam in Thiruvananthapuram. It is to be noted that the 2021 Onam bumber was also won by an autorickshaw driver, Jayapalan.P.R, an auto driver had won the first prize in last year.
The wining ticket was taken by Anoop from a local agent near Pazhavangadi Ganapathi temple. Anoop, according to Bhagavathi agencies had taken the ticket from his close family member, Sujaya who was a sub-agent of Bhagavathi agencies.
After deduction of tax and other reductions, Anoop will fetch an amount of Rs 15 crore as the prize money of the raffle.
The winning ticket was sold by Bhagavathy agencies, Thiruvananthapura,m.
The second prize of Rs 5 crore was won by a ticket sold by an agent at Pala, Pappachan. He told media persons that he don’t remember who won the prize. Thankachan told media persons that as he has memory loss, he doesn’t remember the name and details of those who were completed.
