In a murky incident at Cuddalore in Tamil Nadu , students of a private college turned into two groups and fought against each other over a love affair.
Two students of the college ,Sudhakar and Varun fell in love with a girl from Virudachalam town and a student of the same college.
On October 28, Friday , when the students were waiting at a bus stop, the issue cropped up between Varun and Sudhakar on the girl. This turned into a major argument between the two and later students took sides. One group of students supported Varun while the other group supported Sudhakar. This led to argument and later to a fight between the two groups which turned into a massive brawl.
Police reached the spot and managed to disperse the warring factions. Virudachalam police told BPNS that some students were injured in the fight and six students were taken into custody.
