Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, M.K. Stalin and AIADMK leader and opposition leader Edappadi. K. Palaniswami (EPS) attended the G-20 preparatory meetings of political parties called by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The meeting was held at 5 pm.
The Chief Minister’s office told BPNS that Stalin left for the national capital by 10 am and will return back to Chennai at 11.30 pm.
AIADMK interim general secretary and leader of opposition in the Tamil Nadu legislative assembly, Edappadi K. Palaniswami (EPS) also attended the meeting of political parties called by the Prime Minister in New Delhi.
The PMO has clearly stated that the parties cannot send the representatives and instead party’s state presidents must participate in the meeting. The G-20 preliminary meeting will, according to the Chief Minister’s office deliberate upon how the G-20 would be conducted in India.
The West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee also participated in the meeting and she told media persons that she was attending the meeting as the Trinamool Congress president.
