The Vice President of India, Hon. Jagdeep Dhankar released the latest book of Prof Dr. S. Sivakumar, ” The Law Commission of India on Criminal Justice Reforms.” at an August function here. Attorney General of India,Shri.R. Venkataramani on December 2nd at Vice President House.
Dr. Sivakumar is a former member of the 21st Law Commission of India from 2016-18 and is presently a senior Professor at the Indian Law Institute. Prof Dr. Sivakumar is a prolific writer and his widely appreciated book Press Law and Journalists :Watch Dog to Guide Dog gives an edifying institute into the role of the Press in this day and age.
Prof. Sivakumar has always volunteered for social reforms activities and pioneered several research-oriented multidisciplinary programmes for judges, lawyers ,journalists, media persons, cyber professionals, farmers , police and others.
His book Article 21 : Code of Life ,Liberty, and Dignity in the Indian constitution honours 70 working years of the Indian Constitution.
