Tamil superstar Suriya is reportedly playing a dual role in the upcoming movie –Suriya 42 directed by Siruthai Siva. Bollywood actor, Disha Pattani is playing the lady lead in the movie the first schedule of which was completed in Goa.
The crew has commenced shooting at Chennai and will move across Tamil Nadu. The shoot is at a brisk pace and the movie is likely to be released in 3D format.
Sources in the industry told BPNS that Suriya is playing dual roles with one as a present character and the other a period character and the fantasy action movie has raked up the interest of the fans and the industry alike.
In a statement, Disha Pattani who is debuting in the Tamil film industry said, “ I am super kicked to announce my next with Suriya Sir and Siva sir. It feels great to be a part of such a huge project that has got all the larger-than-life elements of the audience to experience on the big screen. Moreover, the character I am playing is quite unique, and am also excited to bring my never seen avatar to the audience.”
While Vetri cracks the camera, the movie has a huge star cast in Yogi Babu, Kovai Sarala, Kingsley, and Anand Raj. The music is by Devi Sri Prasad.
The movie has caused excitement as it’s a big-budget movie and a prestigious project for both Suriya and Siruthai Siva. The movie, according to sources in the industry is a high action-packed one and has a romantic section as well.
