
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has attached 45 acre land of former Union Minister and DMK leader, A. Raja at Coimbatore. The ED in a statement said that the land was bought by Raja with the money he got as a bribe while serving as Union Minister.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has attached 45 acre land of former Union Minister and DMK leader, A. Raja at Coimbatore. The ED in a statement said that the land was bought by Raja with the money he got as a bribe while serving as Union Minister.
It may be noted that Raja, the Member of Parliament from the Nilgiris constituency and Deputy Secretary of the DMK was under the radar of the ED and a charge sheet was filed against him in the 2G spectrum scam.
The ED said that the value of the property that has been attached by the federal agency was worth Rs 55 crore.
