Malayalam megastar Mammootty will soon be seen in action in the action thriller, ‘Christopher, in which he plays the role of an IPS officer.
The movie which is directed by Mollywood hitmaker, B. Unnikrishnan is expected to be released in theaters in January. The movie revolves around a real-life crime thriller with Tollywood actor, Vinay Rai playing the villain role.
Vinay Rai is making his debut in Malayalam industry after his hit Tamil movies, Unnale Unnale, Jayamkondaan, Endrendum Punnangai, and Araanmanai.
The script of the movie is by Udaykrishna.
Amala Paul, the popular South Indian actor is cast as Sulekha in the movie and the character according to the insiders of the movie, is carrying a mystery in the action thriller.
The Ponniyin Selvan fame, Aishwarya Lakshmi is playing a small role but is sharing screen space with Mammootty in the movie. Sneha is the other lady lead in the movie.
Cinematography is done by Faiz Siddik while music is done by Justin Varghese. The movie produced by R.D. Illuminations has Shaji Naduvil doing the art direction and the action is done by Supreme Sundar, Mafia Sasi, and Vicky.
The movie has a strong cast with Tamil star, Sarath Kumar, Siddique, Shine Tom Chacko, Dileesh Pothan, Deepak Parambol, Aditi Ravi, and Remya Suresh acting in the movie.
