A helicopter carrying noted Guru, Sri Sri Ravishankar, and three others made an emergency landing at Ukiniyin tribal hamlet in the Satyamangalam Tiger Reserve (STR) area in Erode on Wednesday morning. The Art of Living Guru was traveling to Tirupur from Bengaluru on a private helicopter. Two of his assistants and the pilot were in the helicopter other than Sri Sri Ravishankar.
Sources told BPNS that the chopper made the emergency landing due to poor weather conditions and the pilot complained of difficulty in navigating the copter.
Kadambur police who rushed to the spot on receiving the information told BPNS that Sri Sri Ravishankar and three others who were in the chopper were safe.
All the passengers are safe. The helicopter took off after an hour when the weather situation improved.
