The International Leather Fashion show will be held in Chennai on February 1. The fashion show portrays new trends in the Indian leather and products sector. The show is mainly targeted to the international audience of leather products, components, and machinery manufacturers, retailers, and buyers who would come for the India International Leather Fair which commences on January 31st.
A variety of leather products made through sustainable technology with international participants from 15 countries will be displayed as part of the leather fashion show organized by the Indian Finished Leather Manufacturers and Exporters Association (IFLMEA).
Chairman of IFLMEA, K.R. Vijayan in a statement said that the fare would help in removing the misconception about the leather industry being a polluter. He said that the fare will help in highlighting the manner in which leather manufacturers have become environmentally responsible by investing in environmentally sustainable technology.
The convenor of the programme, Sateesh Jadav said that the theme of this year’s fashion show was ‘A Floral Fantasy’ . This depicts the mood in the world leather market.
The fashion show of 2023 will be choreographed by Ms. Lubina Adams who is also directing the show. She has directed some of the biggest fashion shows in India and abroad.
40 models will be presenting the garments, shoes and fashion accessories produced by leading companies live on the stage.

Tatheer Zaidi, General Manager, Solidaridad Asia spoke about the eco-friendly technologies being adopted by the leather manufacturers in the country. Sabapathy, Chairman, Saba Group, and Yuvar Dahla, convenor of the fashion show also spoke during the occasion.
