Malayalam Super Star Mammootty plays yet another stellar role in the movie ‘Christopher’ directed by B. Unnikrishnan. Mammootty plays the role of a police officer, Christopher, who takes the law into his hands to prevent certain hardcore criminals who believe that they can get away with their money power, position, and patronage even after committing cruel crimes. The superstar of Mollywood plays a controlled acting as the super cop in the movie.
Christopher happens to become an officer who takes law into his own hands due to some backlashes he had faced during his younger days. The officer tracks and hunts down the criminals who sexually assault women without any mercy.
The movie is passing through some stunning moments and Mammotty as said earlier has given a stellar performance. Tamil actor, Vinay Rai who dons the role of the villain Satyamoorthy also does justice to this role-playing cruel character.
Actor-director Dileesh Pothen plays the role of Abhilash, the Superintendent of Police while Amala Paul also plays the role of the Superintendent of Police, Sulekha.
Aiswarya Lakshmi plays the role of a social worker in the movie scripted by Udaya Krishna. Tamil actor Sharath Kumar plays the role of a police officer who mentored Christopher in his younger days.
The first half of the movie is highly engaging and writer Udaya Krishna has brought out a thrilling narrative.
Faiz Siddik wields the camera while music is by Justin Vargheese in the movie which has a duration of two hours and thirty minutes.
