TN health department to organize 100 medical camps on June 24

Tamil Nadu health minister, Ma Subramanian said that the state health department would organize 100 medical camps in the state on June 24. He said that the camps would be organized from morning till evening and will be attached with the government hospitals, medical college hospitals, private hospitals across the state.

The minister was speaking after attending the International Yoga Day celebrations in Chennai at Government Yoga and Naturopathy College on Wednesday.

He said that around 30 medical departments including ECG, Lab testing drawn from various government and private hospitals will participate in the camp. The minister also said that 28 tuberculosis screening vehicles as also digital X-Ray facilities will be present at the medical camps.

Ma Subramanian said that medical camps will be held in all the districts of the state and those who visit the camp will be provided with insurance cards. He also said that lakhs of people would be beneficial of these medical camps.
