Bengaluru, July 4 (BPNS)
Senior leader of the BJP and former Chief Minister of Karnataka, BS Yedyurappa has said that his party and Janata Dal (S) led by HD Kumaraswamy will fight together in future.
The senior BJP leader while speaking to reporters here on Tuesday said that whatever Kumaraswamy was telling is absolutely true and I want to support his statement.
The former Chief Minister also said that the BJP would conduct a state wide agitation if the Congress government was not fulfilling its promises.
He said that the BJP was not making any demands towards the Congress government but wanted them to fulfil the five promises they have made to the people. BS Yedyurappa said ,” BJP would wait for one week for the Congress government to implement the five promises and if they don’t , we will go across the state and conduct protests in all the districts against the Government.”
HD Kumaraswamy in a separate statement said that there was an Ajit Pawar in the making in Karnataka and said that after Ajit Pawar’s decision to support the BJP, he was scared of what was going to happen in Karnataka.
It is to be noted that the joining of hands between BJP and JD (S) would lead to a major increase in the fortunes of the saffron party as they would become stronger in the Old Mysore and Mandya areas of Karnataka where the JD(S) is having major stakes.
