Chennai, July 5 (BPNS)
Four people died and one grievously injured when the car in which they were travelling collided with a loaded truck that was parked on the roadside. The incident happened on early morning of Wednesday (July 5,2023) at the Tiruchi- Madurai national highway in Viralimalai at Pudukottai district of Tamil Nadu.
The car, according to police was bound for Chennai and the driver seems to have lost control and then the vehicle collided into a loaded truck that was parked on the road side.
The Viralimalai police recovered the body of the victims and sent them to Manapparai government hospital for postmortem. The injured person is admitted to Primary health centre at Kodambalur.
Police sources told BPNS that the identities of the deceased and the injured is being ascertained.
