A senior citizen who lives opposite to the official residence of Karnataka Chief Minister, Siddaramiah blocked the Chief Minister’s car. The incident occurred on Thursday morning.
The senior citizen, Narottam who lives opposite to ‘Kumara Kripa’, the official residence of Chief Minister, Siddaramiah was frustrated as the people who come to meet Chief Minister park their vehicles in front of the gate of the senior citizen. This prevents, Narottam and his family members from moving out of the house.
Narottam while speaking to media persons said, “It was difficult for me and my family members to get out of the house. I have to reach the residence of the Chief Minister and find out about the owner of the vehicle parked in front of my gate rendering me and my family confined to our home.”
After arguing with the police, Narottam came in front of the vehicle of the Chief Minister and prevented him from moving. The Chief Minister directed a police officer to enquire into the matter and to take appropriate action.
Narottam however said that there has been an increase in the number of visitors reaching the new Chief Minister’s residence and hence vehicles were parked in many places near his home and most of the time blocking his gate.
The Police officers said that many times, VIPs and ministers are coming to meet the Chief Minister and hence it was difficult for them to ask them not to park their vehicles.
