Major shuffle in Kerala police top officials, TK Vinod Kumar to become new Vigilance chief.

In a major reshuffle at the top level in Kerala police, state intelligence chief TK Vinod Kumar is shifted as the Director of Vigilance department.

In a major reshuffle at the top level in Kerala police, state intelligence chief TK Vinod Kumar is shifted as the Director of Vigilance department. He has been promoted to the DGP rank and hence is posted as the Director, Vigilance.

ADGP Manoj Abraham will be the new Intelligence chief.  K. Padmakumar who is a DGP rank officer will be the new Chief of the Fire and Resuce department.

ADGP Balram Kumar Upadhyaya who is presently in charge of the state police headquarters will be in charge of Jails in Kerala. Kochi city police commissioner, Sethuraman is promoted as North Zone IG. Traffic police head,A. Akbar will be the new Kochi city police commissioner.

ADGP MR Ajith Kumar will be in charge of the various battalions of the state.

The new postings and transfers have been issued following the retirement of DGP, Tomin J Thachankery from the service on July 31.
