TN police probe on missing Dalit woman panchayat president

Ambur police in Tirupattur district is probing into the missing a woman Dalit panchayath president in the district.

The woman, Indumathi was elected President of Navakkaneri Village Panchayat in Tirupattur district. Her husband Pandiyan has registered a complaint with the Ambur police stating that his wife was missing since last amAmzz at

The Complainant said that the woman Panchayath president has left home to buy milk on Saturday evening and since then she was missing.

The panchayath was converted from a general category to a reserved panchayath recently.
