Chennai, Sept 18( BPNS)

Senior leader of the AIADMK and former minister, D. Jayakumar has said that his party does not have any alliance with the BJP at present. He said that the alliance will be decided later.

Speaking to media persons at Chennai, the AIADMK leader lashed out against the Tamil Nadu BJP president, K. Annamalai on his remarks against C.N. Annadurai, the first Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu from DMK.

Jayakumar while speaking with media persons said. “ BJP is not in alliance with AIADMK and we will decide about the alliance later only.”

He also added that this was not his personal view but of the party.

The former minister said that while the BJP cadres wanted an alliance with the AIADMK, the state president does not want so.

Jayakumar also said that Annamalai was always criticizing the AIADMK leaders and that he was unfit to be the state president of the BJP in Tamil Nadu.

It may be noted that two other senior leaders of the AIADMK and former minsiter’s Sullur K. Raja and CVe Shanmugham had also came out strongly against Annamalai. While Sullur K. Raja said that Annamalai had disrespected C.N. Annadurai in a public programme and that there were people in Tamil Nadu who were ready to cut the tongue of those who had disrespected the Dravidian icon. He also said that in Tamil culture people don’t say bad things on a person after his death and even AIADMK leaders and cadres are not speaking any ill on Kalaignar Karunanidhi after his passing away.

CVe Shanmugham also lashed out against Annamalai and said that the BJP president does not have any competence to speak about Perarignar Anna.

He said that it was Perarignar Anna (C.N Annadurai) who was responsible for the present growth of Tamil Nadu.

With the AIADMK senior leaders targeting the IPS officer turned Politician, the Central leadership of the party will have to take a call immediately for the party to stay afloat in Tamil Nadu.
