Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin has pointed out that corruption was rampant under the BJP government at the centre led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The Chief Minister in his podcast series, ‘Speaking for India’ said that the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi was made of communalism, corruption, corporate capitalism, cheating and character assassination.
He said, “ This is a rule of five Cs and it’s a befitting description. The BJP has managed to hide it through propaganda and advertisements until now. However the newly formed INDIA coalition and its leaders are shedding light on this. It is tearing apart the BJPs façade. Prime Minister Modi’s pomp and show are also exposed”.
Stalin further said that the opposition parties were raising key issues and the CAG reports were proving that the opposition was sharing factual insights based on real data.
He said that the CAG report had proved that the BJP was corrupt even in the Ayodhya project. The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister pointed out the CAG report that had mentioned about the violations in the tourism project (Swadesh Darshan) that invite tourists to all places where the Ramayana was supposed to have taken place.
Stalin said that the CAG has found several irregularities worth millions in the Swadesh Darshan project. He said ,” They name all projects with words that cannot even be pronounced by the common people. This is a way to ensure that people don’t know what is going on.”
He also mentioned about the UDAN scheme and said that out of the 774 routes planned under the scheme, only 7% of the routes were operational and that other93% routes were ineffective.
The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister also cited the CAG reports and pointed out irregularities in the Railways and other pension schemes. he also said that the people of the country has realized that Modi was working against the poor, the downtrodden, the Backward Classes, the Scheduled castes and the Scheduled tribes.
He also reiterated that the BJP must be defeated in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and all the people in the country must unite as one voice to put an end to BJPs communal, divisive, authoritarian and corporate driven politics.
