She will be brought to Coimbatore on Sunday evening and will be produced before a magistrate.

The principal of the school, Meera Jackson was absconding after the 16-year-old student hanged herself to death at her home on Thursday. The student had in her suicide note said that she was shattered after the Physics teacher of the school, Mithun Chakravarthy (31) had physically abused her several times.

The school teacher was arrested on Friday itself under Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (Pocso) Act and remanded in judicial custody. He was charged under Section 306 (Abetment of Suicide) of Indian Penal Code,  Section 9(1) (whoever commits sexual assault on a child more than once or repeatedly), and Section 10 (punishment for aggravated sexual assault ) under Pocso Act.

Principal of the private school, Meera Jackson is also charged under the Pocso Act as she had dissuaded the 16-year-old girl from complaining against the school teacher. The family and friends of the deceased girl student had alleged that the school principal had forced the child not to reveal the name of the Physics teachers.

Student organisations were on agitation in Coimbatore since the death of the girl and had demanded the arrest of the School principal also and to charge her as a co-accused in the case. The family of the child also refused to accept the dead body of the child until the principal was arrested.
