South Indian Superstar Kamal Haasan’s much-awaited movie, ‘Vikram’ is all set to become a super-duper hit. The movie which is to be released on June 3rd in theaters across the world has a record Rs 200 crore sales indicting that the movie is all scheduled for a major hit. OTT and satellite rights of the movie have been sold for around Rs 200 crore and all these indicate that the movie which is the 232nd film of Kamal Haasan is turning into a major hit.
The movie was released to a select audience during the Cannes international film festival and film critic Umair Sandhu who is based out of UAE has in a tweet said,” Its an earnest and honest effort, a terrific action thriller, with several poignant moments and episodes that leave a stunning impact. If you are in the frame of mind to watch a superior quality sensible cinema, Go For It #KamalHaasan fans”.
In the movie, Kamal Haasan is playing the role of Arun Kumar, an intelligent agent of RAW, India’s external intelligence agency. He is at times brutal and shows no mercy to criminals.
The song ‘Pathala Pathala’ written and co-sung by Kamal Haasan and Anirudh has already become a big hit on YouTube.
Tamil superstar Vijay Sethupathi plays the role of an antagonist in the movie and Fahad Fazil is also playing a major role in the film. Tamil Super Star Suriya is playing a cameo role in the film which is produced by Kamal Haasan’s movie house Raj Kamal movies and R. Mahendran.
The music for the movie was done by Anirudh Ravichandran and camera was by Girish Gangadharan and edited by Philomin Raj.
Other major actors who are playing significant roles are Narain, Antony Verghese, Chemben Vinod, Gayathrie Shankar, Shanvi Srivastava, Shivani Narayanan, Arjun Das, and Kalidas Jayaram.
