Kerala minister for Industries E P Jayarajan inaugurated the first IT building of Accel Realty – Accel Infinium 1 in the KINFRA IT/ ITES Special Economic Zone, in the KINFRA Film & Video Park campus in Kazhakoottam. Accel Realty in 2019 began work on setting up a 500,000 sq.IT space in the complex and Infinium 1 that was inaugurated on Monday is the first building of the group providing contemporary IT space ready for occupancy.

NR Panicker ,Founcer Chairman of Accel while participating in the function said, “The increasing demand for premium IT spaces in Thiruvananthapuram has prompted Accel Realty to announce its second phase also which will start in the next few months. This is to build on the momentum the city is seeing due to growing trend for work near home spaces that address both resource availability and quality-of-life facilities.”
“The Buildings encapsulate contemporary design and optimal efficiency delivered in a predictable time frame. The ready-to-use facilities are a boon for start-ups that need to optimize on set-up costs while being able to scale up at short notice. The projects are eco-friendly in nature and exude an ambience of world-class contemporary work environments.” He added.
Dr. Shashi Tharoor, MP, delivered the keynote address on the topic ‘Can Kerala Leapfrog in Knowledge Economy’.
Accel Limited founded in 1991 was a vendor independent IT Services Company with Corporate Office in Chennai. Over the years, the company transitioned from a start-up to a successful technology services group. Rapid organic growth along with a series of acquisitions and mergers ensured the evolution of the Group into a mult-divisional multi-location entity.
After having exited the flagship Accel Frontline Limited in 2016, the holding company was focusing on its Digital Media activities and re-entered the IT services business along with this new foray into IT Infrastructure through its Realty Division.
The inauguration programme was conducted following all the Covid protocols.
