Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on Thursday announced the extension of lockdown norms in the state for two more weeks. However, the state Chief Minister announced a few relaxation including allowing physical classes in schools for students of classes 1 to 12 from February 1.
Playschools, LKG and UKG will not function.
There will not be any night curfew in Tamil Nadu from January 28th onwards, the Chief Minister said.
The Chief Minister also said that there will not be a complete lockdown on January 30th, Sunday. Private universities, colleges, and polytechnics will be allowed to function from February 1 except for those educational institutions that are functioning as Covid centres.
