The Chennai metro will continue to operate its services on Sundays in May from 7 am to 9pm,according to a press release from the Chennai metro services The Chennai metro service spokesperson said that the Chennai metro will operate its services on all Sunday’s in May as per the directive of Tamil Nadu state government.
There will be no peak hour service and passengers are requested to maintain social distance during travelling inside the train as well as during waiting at the metro railway stations.
The release also called upon the public to co-operate in the fight against Covid 19.
