TN Pollution Control Board to hold open house on Saturday

The Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board is to conduct an open house on Saturday at all its district and zonal offices and head office at Guindy. The open house is being conducted to build trust and confidence among various stakeholders including the public.

The open house will be held on Saturday from 11 AM.

A statement from the TNPCB said that these sessions will be held on the fifth of every month and the first session will be held on this Saturday. Any individual or industrial unit, NGO, or representatives of public welfare associations can participate and meet the officials concerned.

The participants can express their grievances, get clarifications and make complaints on pollution-related issues, consent, and make suggestions and views in respect of environmental protection.

Those who are willing to attend the session can register on the www.tnpcb.gov.in website and participants are required to carry their Aadhaar card. People can also walk in for the programme and express their problems and issues related to the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board.
