Chennai, April 4 (BPNS)

The Tamil Nadu Cyber cell has commenced an investigation into the group sex video of a woman school teacher indulging in sex with her boy students. The video which was filmed by a businessman who was the woman’s paramour had been shared by a few people who were the businessman’s friends. The cyber cell is investigating whether the sex video is uploaded to international pornographic sites for money or whether it was circulated among a few people.

The 42-year-old woman school teacher of a government school in Madurai and her 39-year-old lover were arrested on Sunday and are in police custody. A senior officer with the Madurai Cyber cell of the police said that there have been strict instructions from the office of the DGP to crack down on all those who have shared pornographic content and the agency is on the lookout for a few people who have shared this.

The woman who was separated from her husband entered into an illicit relationship with the 39-year-old businessman who was also separated from his partner. They met in 2010 for the first time and were engaged in an intimate relationship. Police said that in 2020 when they were watching a pornographic video, they discussed group sex.

The 42-year-old woman teacher brought three boy students aged 16 to her home and entered into an intimate relationship with them. The act was filmed by her paramour and later he circulated this video among some of his friends. During interrogation, the businessman revealed that he had circulated the video among some of his friends. This led to the Cyber cell of Tamil Nadu police taking up the investigation and questioning some people who had received the video.

The Madurai South All Woman police station has already registered a case against the woman and her paramour after the minor boys complained against her.

The duo is charged under Section 5(1),5(n) r/w 6 of the Pocso Act, sections 292(A), 506 of IPC, and Sections 67 (A) and 67 (B) of the IT Act for charges of sexual abuse of minor boys, circulation of obscene content as well as criminal intimidation.

The Tamil Nadu Cyber Cell officers told BPNS that they are questioning those who had circulated the video and if required arrests would be recorded.
