Human Sacrifice :Kerala police to track missing women case in five years

The Kerala police have commenced tracing missing women cases in the past five years after the Elanthoor human sacrifice of two women has come to light. The Additional Director General of Kerala, Vijay Sakhare in a meeting of officials directed to conduct detailed inquiry on all the missing cases registered in the police stations during the past five years.

It may be noted that the state witnessed a gruesome human sacrifice in which two women,Roslyn and Padma were sacrificed and their body parts cut at Elanthoor in Pathanamthitta district of Kerala. The accused Shafi alias Rasheed had offered Rs 10 lakh each to the women,who were lottery sellers , as fee for acting in movies. The co-accused Bhaval Singh and his wife Laila conducted the henious murder of the two women in two seperate incidents at their residence in Elanthoor ,Pathanamthtta.

All three are now in judicial custody and police said that they have confessed to the murder and cutting body parts of the murdered women into pieces and burying them. The Kochi police have traced down the murder after commencing on an investigation over the missing case of Padma, after he sister filed a complaint that she was missing from home. This has led to the ADGP to order a total inquiry into the missing complaints registered with the police stations in Kerala.
