Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and President of DMK, M.K.Stalin said that Narendra Modi should be removed from the post of Prime Minister.

In a statement on Wednesday-the last day of campaigning, Stalin said,“ Modi should be removed from the post of Prime Minister. The country cannot afford to have him again. ”

He said that Narendra Modi and his cabinet colleagues never responded to his charge that the Union government did not release a single rupee for flood relief work.

Stalin said that as the PM and his cabinet colleagues failed to respond to his charge, it was clear that they were against the interest of Tamil Nadu.

He also said that there was apprehension amongst the people who felt that if the BJP got another chance to rule the country, it would redraw the boundaries of States and make India a unitary state.

He also said that the Modi government had threatened investors who were keen on investing in Tamil Nadu and forced them to launch industries in Gujarat.

Stalin said, “It is important that the BJP is not elected to power in the interests of Tamil Nadu’s future and to safeguard the rights of States,”

The Chief Minister also alleged that AIADMK leader Edappadi K. Palaniswami had formed a secret alliance with the BJP and his decision to go it alone in the election, was merely a drama scripted by the BJP

Stalin charged that AIADMK will support the BJP after the elections if there is a need.

Tamil Nadu is going to polls on April 19 th and electioneering has come to an end today in the state.
