Tamil Super star Rajinikanth received the Golden Visa of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), a statement from the office of the superstar said.
Mohammed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Member of Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Chairman of Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT), Government of Abu Dhabi handed over the Emirates ID to the legendary action in a function at DCT HeadQuarters in Abu Dhabi on Thursday.
The superstar while delivering his speech on receiving the Golden Visa said, “ I am deeply honoured to receive the prestigious UAE Golden Visa from the Abu Dhabi government.”
He further said, “ My heartfelt thanks to the Abu Dhabi government and also to my good friend Mr. Yusuf Ali MA, CMD of Lulu group for felicitating the Visa and all support.”
Rajinikanth also called on Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE minister for tolerance at his palace.
The Tamil Superstar also visited the newly constructed BAPS Hindu Mandir and had darshan. He also visited the Sheikh Zaved Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi.
Lulu Group CMD ,M.A. Yusuf Ali and senior official of the group, V. Nandakumar were also with the Tamil superstar.
It may be recalled that Rajini was spotted travelling with Yusufali in the latter’s Rolls Royce in Abu Dhabi, the video of which has gone viral in social media.
The superstar visited Abu Dhabi after wrapping up the shooting of the movie ,’ Vettaiyan’.
