Madurai Police have asked the controversial YouTuber TTF Vasan to hand over his mobile phone to the police. The police summoned him on Sunday and asked him to deliver his phone to the police station and to appear for questioning on June 3, Monday.
TTF Vasan has been in the news for flouting several traffic rules which include speaking on phone while driving a car. The Madurai Anna Nagar police had arrested him on May 29, Thursday for reckless driving and recording video while driving.
He had posted the video on several social media platforms and police booked him under several sections of the IPC including driving in a negligent manner , endangering lives and using a mobile phone.
Vasan was produced before the Judicial magistrate court which granted him bail asking him to appear before the investigating officers. The Madurai Anna Nagar police have now summoned Vasan in this case.
The YouTuber already has several cases against him for reckless driving and the motor vehicles department had suspended his two wheeler license in October 2023 for ten years for conducting bike stunts.
