Prime Minister’s support helped better administration of Tamil Nadu, Edappady K Palaniswami

Chief minister of Tamil Nadu, Edappady K Palaniswami has said that the advices and tips provided by Prime minister Narendra Modi had helped him govern and administer the state of Tamil Nadu and take it to good development perspectives. He was addressing an election  campaign of BJP Aruvarakuruchi constituency, K Annamalai near Karur.

Palaniswami said that the whole hearted support of the Prime minister had helped him wade through tough times in his four years stint as Chief minister of Tamil Nadu.

The AIADMK leader said that the Prime minister’s tips had helped him formulate policies and programmes for the benefit of the people of the state.

The  Chief minister said, “Prime minister had told me to always act for the development and welfare of the rural areas of the state and I have implemented a lot of schemes and programmes for the people of the villages of Tamil Nadu which had transformed their lives.”

The Chief minister countered the charges leveled by the DMK leader MK Stalin that the AIADMK government was a slave of the BJP government at the centre and added ,” 1 lakh crore of development projects were executed in the state of Tamil Nadu and it is owing to the cordial relationship which we have with the Central government and we have entered into an electoral understanding with the BJP for the welfare of the people of Tamil Nadu.”

Edappady K Palaniswami also said that the AIADMK has promised several welfare schemes for the people of the state and that this will be possible only if the state government is having an excellent and cordial relationship with the Central government.
