The special police team investigating the Kodanad heist and murder case questioned the former driver of late Chief Minister, J. Jayalalithaa on Thursday. The driver, Gunashekharan who hails from Cherankulam in Tiruvarur district of Kerala was questioned at Police Recruits School (PRS) in Coimbatore.
Gunasekharan was Jayalalithaa’s driver along with the alleged mastermind of the Kodanad estate heist Kanagaraj who was run over by a truck three days after the murder case.
Kodanad heist and murder case took place on April 23rd,24th wherein a guard Om Bahadhur was killed and another guard Krishna Thapa was grievously injured.
Sources in police told BPNS that they are interrogating him to get more details on Kanagaraj.
