Chennai, Aug 20 (BPNS)

Dravidar Kazhagam (DK) President, K. Veeramani said that the secular forces of Tamil Nadu must unite together and prevent the growth of RSS which was trying to create a foothold in the state. He said that RSS general secretary, Dattatreya Hosabale in his recent visit to Chennai had spoken about liberating temples of the state from the Department of Hindu Religious and Cultural Endowments and said that all secular forces must unite to prevent such moves by the RSS.

He said that the Rajbhavan in Tamil Nadu was becoming a hub of a parallel government in Tamil Nadu and Governor R.N. Ravi and BJP state president K. Annamalai were making unsubstantial allegations every day through the media.

K. Veeramani alleged that the BJP and RSS were trying to split AIADMK into four factions and called upon all secular forces to be on guard against the ulterior motives of the RSS.

The DK leader said that there were reports of the RSS holding 1500 sakhas every day in Tamil Nadu and 400 meetings monthly and added that this was a matter of concern and said that the secular forces and thoughts must rally together against such forces.
