Most of the eateries and restaurants in highways of Tamil Nadu will be shut from Sunday after the state government announced suspension of dine in services to control the rise in number of Covid -19 cases in the second wave.
In Chennai and its suburbs 50% of the restaurants are likely to be shut for four days from Sunday. Tamil Nadu restaurant and hotels association president M Venkata Subbu said that the majority of eateries and restaurants in Tamil Nadu will not function from Sunday.
“Eateries that are located on cities near the cities alone may operate” , Subbaiah said.
