Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, M.K . Stalin congratulated Indian boxer Lovlina Borgohain who had won a bronze medal in the Tokyo Olympics.
Stalin in a tweet on Wednesday said, “I am pleased to know that Lovlina Bogohain, hailing from a small village of Assam and fighting against all odds won the third medal for Indian in Olympics and kept the promise she made to her mother. Her life serves as a great inspiration to all Indian’s than the bronze she had won”.
The Indian boxer from Assam who debuted in the Olympics won the bronze medal fighting against all odds. Lovlina who was a kickboxer to start with shifted to boxing and from the age of 15 she started training at the SAI centre.
She had won boxing bronze medals in the world boxing championship.
