AIADMK leader and former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Edappady K. Palaniswami has called upon the Chief Minister, M.K. Stalin to clear the ‘mystery’ behind his New Delhi visit.

In a statement on Thursday, the former Chief Minister said that Stalin had led a campaign ‘Go back Modi’ during the 2019 loksabha elections against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and has now gone to New Delhi to meet PM and Home Minister Amit Shah to protect him and his family.

Edappadi K.Palaniswami in the statement also raised doubts about the recent visit of the Chief Minister to Dubai, UAE.

The former Chief Minister recalled the visit of Stalin’s father late Kalaignar Karunanidhi to New Delhi to meet the then Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi, and patched up with her 43 years ago. He argued that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would not get carried away by Stalin’s ‘drama’ unlike Indira Gandhi to Karunanidhi.

The AIADMK leader has already come out against the Chief Minister’s visit to Dubai as a ‘family picnic’ referring to the presence of his immediate family with him.
