A 21-year-old college student died after falling from the terrace of a two-storied building in Coimbatore on Friday. The deceased is identified as S. Hariharasudhan of Papanaickenpalayam in the city.
He was a final year student at a private arts and science college in the city.
According to the police, the family had rented out the ground floor and second floor of the house, and Hariharasudhan and his brother and mother Rajeswari were living on the first floor of the house.
Race Course police who are investigating the case said that Hariharasudhan was studying at the terrace of the residence and fell during early morning. Police did not rule out the possibility and are conducting a detailed investigation of the death and his circumstances.
The body is sent to Coimbatore Medical College hospital for postmortem.
