Repose mattresses has roped in Tamil actor and dance icon, Prabhudeva as its brand icon. This was stated by company, CMO, Balaji.V.. He said that Prabhudeva has a huge fan following in North India as well as South India and that the company was expecting to establish itself as a national mattress brand using his stature as a national level icon.
Repose mattresses which was established in 2012 November with factories in Coimbatore, Pune and Meerut is one of the fastest growing mattresses company of the country. The company has a turnover of Rs 103 crore in the last financial year and has 400 employees and a distribution network of 1500 dealers across the country.
Balaji .V, CMO of Repose mattresses while speaking to media persons at Chennai on Wedensday said ,” Presently the company is catering to South Indian market and we are expanding into new territories in North India. We aim to have a presence in New Delhi, Punjab and Haryana and will establish 200 dealers in these North Indian states.We are now actively considering establishing another factory at Bubaneshwar , Odisha. Our target this year is to establish a turnover of Rs 200 crore. In Tamil Nadu, we intend to increase our salae from Rs 30 crore to Rs 60 crore and for this we expect to increase our delaer network from the present, 400 to 600.”
The company in the statement said that according to its brand philosophy of ‘Wake up to Fresh Ideas’, Repose is introducing the latest range of mattresses -the SmartGrid mattresses.
The smart grid mattress is based on technology that is developed by Defense Research and Development organization (DRDO).It is developed by hyper-elastic polymers using cutting edge technologies in the field of material science and sleep science.
The smart grid product range has two variants that are being launched. Pocketed Spring with Grid mattresses and foam with grid mattresses.
