Kerala police restorted to lathicharge against a protest march of the Youth Congress activists at Thiruvananthapuram on Thursday. THe youth Congress activists were protesting against the Cheif Minister Pinarayi Vijayan after revelations by the gold smuggling case acccused Swapna Suresh on Tuesday.
Several youth Congress workers are injured in the milee. Youth Congress and Mahila Congres are in protest in front of the Secretariat with the Mahila Congress activists cooking ‘Biriyani’ in front of the state power centre as a protest against the Chief Minister.
It may be recalled that Swapna Suresh had said that heavy metal objects were inserted in ‘Biriyani Vessels’ that were transported from the residence of the UAE Consul general in Thiruvananthapuram to Cliff house, the official residence of Chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan.
