Tamil Actor Chiyaan Vikram suffered a heart attack today, July 8, and has been rushed to Kauvery hospital in Chennai. He underwent angioplasty a few hours ago. The hospital is yet to share an update regarding his health. Sources in the hospital confirmed that the actor is stable. He was supposed to attend the teaser launch of his upcoming film, Ponniyin Selvan, which is scheduled to happen later today at 6 pm in Chennai.
On July 7, Chiyaan Vikram complained of uneasiness and was rushed to Kauvery hospital for treatment. The actor suffered a heart attack and he underwent angioplasty. Sources in the hospital revealed that the actor is in stable condition. He is expected to be discharged today. Soon, a medical bulletin is expected to be out.
On Thursday, Vikram had informed Ponniyin Selvan team that he wouldn’t be attending the teaser launch today. He will rest for a couple of days and will attend the audio launch of his upcoming film, Cobra, which is slated to happen on Monday, July 11.
