Tamil superstar and founder president of Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK ) ,Vijay in a social media post extended greetings on the 134th birth anniversary of Dr.B.R.Ambedkar.
In a post on social media platform,X, Vijay said ,” On the occasion of father of Indian Constitution Dr.B.R.Ambedkar’s birthday ,let us pledge to ensure that every one gets social justice ,equal rights and equality that Ambedkar emphasised.”
Vijay floated Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) on February 1,2024 has announced that the party would contest polls only in 2026 assembly elections and not in 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
While launching the party Vijay has said that he will use the next two years to prepare his fans and party cadres battle ready for the 2026 assembly polls.
He had also said that Tamil Nadu was yearning for a fundamental political change and that the change should be based on the principle of equality.
The superstar of Tamil movie industry already has units of his fans club Vijay Makkal Iyyakam(VMI) across Tamil Nadu and also in other South Indian states.
