Chennai, Oct 26 (BPNS)

Tamil Nadu Cyber forensic experts are on the footprints of Jameesha Mubin and his five accomplices to find out the individuals and organizations they were acquainted with. The police are also trying to unearth the magnitude of the crime and following up on whether this was only the tip of the iceberg.

A senior officer of the Tamil Nadu Cyber wing while speaking to BPNS said, “ We are tracking the mobile phone call details of the deceased Jameesha Mubin and the five arrested to find out their acquaintances and their ground supporters or foot soldiers.”

The sleuths are trying to unearth the source of the explosives found staked at the home of the killed Jamshee Mubin and his acquaintances. Chemicals that are used for making country bombs include potassium nitrate and sulfur.

It may be noted that a high level meeting of the Tamil Nadu government presided by Chief Minister, M.K. Stalin has decided to recommend NIA investigation in the case.

The Tamil Nadu cyber sleuths are also trying to unearth the places the deceased Jameesha and his accomplices had been to in recent times. It may be noted that the NIA had questioned Jameesha Mubin in 2019 and let him off.

The Tamil Nadu BJP president, K. Annamalai had charged that the state home department had not monitored the activities of Jameesha Mubin even after he was questioned by the NIA in 2009. The cyber sleuths are now trying to get a fact check of Jameesha Mubin and the close contacts that he has in various parts of Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
