The Directorate of Enforcement (ED ) officials are conducting raids at thrity five locations across Tamil Nadu.
The raids that commenced on Tuesday morning is following the recent interrogation of movie director Ameer in the case related to the arrest of DMK leader and film producer Jaffer Sadik. ED officials refused to comment on the details of the searches and raids that is taking place currently.
It may be recalled that the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) had recently questioned Ameer in New Delhi along with two other businesses men.
Jaffer Sadik ,leader of the DMK NRI cell was arrested in a Rs 2000 crore drug snuggling case from New Delhi. He had allegedly smuggled drugs to Australia and New Zealand.
