BJP National President, JP Nadda said that the people of Tamil Nadu were looking for a change in the ensuing Lok Sabha elections as they were tired of both the Dravidian majors, DMK and AIADMK.
He said that this change will come through the victory of BJP sand added that BJP was now unstoppable.
The BJP leader was addressing an election rally in Paramkudi on Tuesday for the election campaign of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister,O.Panneerselvam (OPS) in Ramanathapuram Lok Sabha constituency. OPS who was a former state coordinator of the AIADMK was expelled from the party and is contesting as an independent with the support of the BJP.
JP Nadda said that people who traditionally voted for the Dravidian parties, were irked by the corrupt practices and maladministration in Tamil Nadu over the past five decades.
The BJP leader said that the people of Tamil Nadu were witnessing the central government rule of the BJP since the past ten years and added that the first time voters were convinced about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s success and hence the youngsters would vote for the BJP and its allies.
Nadda said ,” The country had moved forward in every sphere and Union government’s plan is to take the Indian economy to the top three at the global level and this could be achieved only by Modi”.
The BJP national president said that the goal of 400 plus seats for the BJP and its allies in the ensuing elections would become a reality on June 4.
He said that the opponents of the BJP will not be able to stop the victory for the BJP and its alliance partners in Tamil Nadu.
