TN Advocate General resigns

Advocate General of Tamil Nadu, Vijay Narayan has resigned on Monday following the defeat of the Edappadi K Palaniswami government . Vijay Narayan in a letter addressed to the Governor ,Bhanwarilal Purohit said that he is putting in his papers as the Advocate General and will be concentrating on private practice as a lawyer.

Vijay Narayan in his resignation letter said, “Time has come for me to resign and pursue private practice and due to this personal reason, I wish to tender resignation from the position of Advocate General of Tamil Nadu.”

The outgoing Advocate General in his resignation letter also said, “The Chief minister and law minister were a source of strength to me and treated me with utmost respect and regard and I will be ever grateful to them for the utmost respect and regards shown to me.”

He also said that the administration was fully supportive to him and thanked the officials of the state of Tamil Nadu in supporting him. The outgoing Advocate General while thanking the staff of the AG’s office said, “As I leave this office to pursue private practice, I would like to offer my sincere good wishes to the future government in all its endeavors.”
