67 students of a corporation middle school in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu who were admitted to government hospital, Hosur are recuperating. Hospital authorities told BPNS that the children are being treated and are better.
100 students of a Corporation middle school in Hosur fell sick on Friday afternoon after a suspected gas leak from a septic tank on the premises. The children, according to hospital authorities developed nausea and vomiting.
67 students of the school, both boys and girls who showed serious symptoms of vomiting and nausea were admitted to the Hosur government hospital and are now better after administering IV fluids and medication.
Hospital authorities, and Pollution Control board officials are ascertaining the reason for the children developing uneasiness, and the blood samples and vomit samples are being tested to find out the reason.
Krishnagiri district collector, V. Jayachandra Bhanu Reddy told media persons that the children are being treated at Hosur government hospital and are getting better.
