Education company PhysicsWallah has opened registrations for the fourth edition of its National Scholarship-cum-Admission Test, offering tuition-fee waivers, cash prizes and residential support to students preparing for competitive examinations.
PWNSAT 2026 is open to students studying in Classes V to XII and those who have completed Class XII. Candidates from both the Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics stream and the Physics, Chemistry and Biology stream are eligible to register free of cost.
The examination will be conducted online and offline in October to make it accessible to students across the country. The online test is scheduled from October 1 to 15. Offline examinations will be held on October 3, 4, 10 and 11 at PhysicsWallah Vidyapeeth, Pathshala and tuition centres nationwide. The date for the publication of results will be announced later.
Students qualifying under the programme can receive scholarships covering up to 100 per cent of their tuition fees. PhysicsWallah said cash rewards with a total value of up to ₹2.5 crore would also be offered. The top 500 eligible performers will receive free education and hostel accommodation under the initiative.
Selected students preparing for the Joint Entrance Examination and the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test will also be admitted to an Exclusive Rankers’ Group. They will receive additional academic mentoring and guidance intended to strengthen their preparation.
PhysicsWallah founder and chief executive officer Alakh Pandey said the initiative sought to reduce the financial obstacles faced by students and ensure that access to quality education was not determined by their economic circumstances.
He said the scholarship test would combine financial assistance with academic support, enabling students to pursue their ambitions with greater confidence.
