Shiv Sena’s Kerala state committee has appointed Kazhakkoottam Vinu Das chairman of its newly constituted State Policy Formulation Committee, according to a letter issued by state president Adv. Hari Kumar.
The appointment follows a decision taken at the party’s Kerala state executive committee meeting in Thiruvananthapuram on August 28. In the letter dated September 10, Hari Kumar said the committee had been formed to make the party’s organisational work more effective and ensure coordination on policy matters.
Vinu Das has been asked to work with the state committee, examine policy issues concerning the party and submit recommendations to the state leadership. The letter expresses confidence that his experience and commitment will strengthen the organisation.
